On 18/07/2018, RWF announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed 10TH for the position of Apprentice.

Other Qualification Details:
1. Minimum Educational Qualification & Training Period :-
a. The candidates willing to undergo training under the Apprentices' Act, 1961, in this Factory, must have passed 10th class examination Or its equivalent with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks, from recognized Boards, as On the date Of issue of Notification and also possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the designated trade in which this administration is imparting training, issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
b. The training in the designated trades Of Fitter, Machinist Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Turner, Electrician and Electronic Mechanic will be for a period of one year. Whereas the period of training for COE Group (CNC Programming-cum-Operator), is for a period of six months. Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council.
2. Stipend: During their period of apprenticeship training in this Factory, the candidates undergoing training in the trades of Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic will be paid a stipend of Rs.6,841/- p.m., while for CNC Programming-cum-Operator, a stipend of Rs.6,081/- p.m., will be paid and as per extant rules amended from time to time.
3. Fitter - 85, Machinist -31, Mechanic - 08, Turner - 5, CNC Programming cum opertaor - 23, Electrician -18, Electronic Mechanic - 22

Documents Required
a) 10th Std/Matriculation or its equivalent marks certificate with at least 50% of marks, with Date of Birth as proof of age.
b) National Trade certificate (NTC) in the designated trade in which this Administration is imparting training, which is issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), will be accepted. Please note that mere completion of a course is not sufficient.
c) Copy of the caste certificates in case of SC/ST candidates in the prescribed proforma and /OBC candidates in the prescribed proforma
d) Physically Handicapped/l)isability certificate duly issued by the competent medical board.
e) Two identical passport size photographs duly self attested and firmly stiched in separate cover to the application form (apart from one copy pasted on the application form).
f) Discharge certificate/serving certificate for wards of Ex-Servicemen/for serving Railway employee respectively (as the case may be). Employment Registration card, registered in Employment Exchanges within the State Of Karnataka, with renewal being current.
g) This is applicable in case of candidates residing in State of Karnataka other than wards of Serving Railway Employees.) Wards of serving Railway employees should produce certificate issued by the respective controlling officers where their parents are working in the prescribed proforma.

Application duly filled-in all respects can either be dropped in the sealed Drop Box kept in the Office of the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Personnel Department, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560064 on all the working days i.e, from Monday to Friday between 09:00 hrs to 16:50 hrs. and Saturday between 09:00 hrs. to 12:20 hrs. or sent by REGISTERED POST only to the below mentioned address duly superscribing on the cover as "Application for undergoing training under the Apprentices' Act, 1961 for the year 2018-19 in Rail Wheel Factory" with the enclosures in Annexures should be submitted to this office before 17:00 hrs. of the closing date i.e., 13.08.2018 addressing to, The Senior Personnel Officer, Personnel Department, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka,
2. Candidates should ensure that their Name, Father's/Mother's name/Guardian's name, their Date of Birth, in the application forms submitted by them should exactly match as recorded in their Matriculation or equivalent certificates and other certificates including Aadhaar certificates submitted by them.
3. Any deviation found during document verification will lead to cancellation of their candidature and also their debarment from undergoing traimng in this Factory.
4. An Ex-servicemen candidate selected under the reservation provided for him/her will be placed in the appropriate category viz., UR/SC/ST/OBC to which he/she belongs. In case of children of Ex-servicemen, they must produce discharge certificate of his/her parents at the time of document verification. A recent colour pass port size photograph should be affxed on the application form duly signed/attested by the candidate.
2.
