About College: Anand Agricultural University (AAU) was established in 2004 at Anand with the support of the Government of Gujarat, Act No.(Guj 5 of 2004) dated April 29, 2004. Caved out of the erstwhile Gujarat Agricultural University (GAU), the dream institution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. K. M. Munshi, the AAU was set up to provide support to the farming community in three facets namely education, research and extension activities in Agriculture, Horticulture Engineering, product Processing and Home Science. At present there seven Colleges, seventeen Research Centers and six Extension Education Institute working in nine districts of Gujarat namely Ahmedabad, Anand, Dahod, Kheda, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Mahisagar, Botad and Chhotaudepur.

Associate Professor & its equivalent post in different discipline in the faculties:

• Agriculture : Agronomy , Horticulture
• Veterinary :  Poultry Science,  Veterinary Surgery

Assistant Professor & its equivalent post in different discipline in the faculties:

• Agriculture :  Agri. Chemistry & Soil Science,  Agri. Biochemistry,  Agri. Economics, Agronomy,  Entomology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology ,Plant Physiology / Crop Physiology
• Horticulture : Fruit Science

Qualification:   

• A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in concerned / relevant discipline by a recognised University.
• A Ph.D. Degree in concerned / relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.

Candidate Profile:

• Candidate should completed  their PG/Ph.D in relevant discipline
• Commitment towards work.
• The candidate must possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application equivalent to Course on Computer Concepts of Department of electronic accreditation of computer course (DOEACC) society or of the level as may be determined by the State Government from time to time.

Scale of Pay :

• Principal : Pay Band ₹ 37400- 67000/- + A.G.P. 10,000/-
• Professor & its equivalent Pay Band ₹ 37400- 67000/- + A.G.P. 10,000/-
• Associate Professor & its equivalent Pay Band ₹ 15600- 39100/- + A.G.P.₹ 8000/- (After completion of three years as Associate Professor Pay Band 37400-67000 + A.G.P. 9,000/- will be given.)
• Assistant Professor & its equivalent Pay Band ₹ 15600- 39100/- + A.G.P 6,000/-
