Age: The candidates must not be less than 15 years of age and not more than 24 years of age as on 18.06.2018
Application Fee: 100/- (Rupees Hundred only) in the form of a crossed Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank or a crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment)o Railway Recruitment Cell, Secunderabad - 500 025 payable at Hyderabad or Secunderabad. Remittance of processing fee in any other form will not be accepted or refunded. These instruments should not have been issued earlier to 18.06.2018.Document Requirement
The following self-attested photo copies of the certificates are to be enclosed with the application:
1 . 10th/SSC Certificate in proof of date of birth.
2. ITI certificate with consolidated marks sheet of all the years.
3. Copy of the latest CASTE CERTIFICATE in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates issued by the District Magistrate lMandal Revenue Officer in the prescribed proforma. (for SC/ST candidates and OBC candidates
4. Physically handicapped certificate duly issued by the competent Medical Board as per rules in case of PWD candidate.
5. Two identical passport size colour photographs firmly stitched in separate cover to the application (apart from one copy pasted on the application form).

Other Instructions
1. The candidates who are called on any day notified by the Administration for verification of certificates are not eligible for any Travelling/Dearness Allowances. Original certificates or Testimonials should not be sent along with the application but should be produced at the time of verification of certificates.
2. The selected candidates shall execute a contract of Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and if such a candidate is a minor, his Parent/Guardian shall execute the prescribed contract.
3. The Apprentices shall be governed by the provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962 as amended from time to time and such other Railway Rules and Regulations applicable to them.
4. The Obligation under The Apprentices Act, 1961 on part Of the Railways is to provide training only and not to absorb the trained Apprentices. Hence, the candidates will have no prescriptive right for regular absorption /employment in Railway service on completion of the Training.
5. In case an Apprentice discontinues the apprenticeship training and fails to fulfill the obligations as per his contract without valid reasons, he shall have to refund the stipend paid to him, the cost of training and such other costs that may be determined under the Rules by the Railway Administration. The decision of the Railway Administration in this regard will be final and binding.

Selection Procedure
Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both matriculation with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
How to Apply
1. Applications duly filled-in all respects with the enclosures and the forwarding from any one of the four sources mentioned at the bottom of the application, should reach the office of The Deputy Chief Personnel Officer/A& R/SCR, RRC, 1St Floor, C-Block, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad- 500 025, on or before the due date i.e. 17.07.2018.
2. Candidates should submit their applications through any of the following sources duly ensuring that the space providid for in the applcation is used by the for.warding authority for the purpose: (i) Nearest Employment Exchanges.
(ii) SC/ST/OBC organizations. (iii) ITIs wherever existing. (iv) Wards of Railway Employees through their controlling Officers.
3. Railway employees should ensure that the applications of their wards are sent to this office through their respective controlling officials. The application form should be filled up in ENGLISH or in HINDI only in his/her
own hand writing.
4. A colour pass port size recent photograph should be affixed on the application duly signed by the applicant.
