Eligibility Criteria for Border Security Force Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board / University and 2nd Class Master Certificate issued by the Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department for Post No. 1, 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board / University and 1st Class Engine Driver Certificate issued by the Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department for Post No. 2, Matriculation (10th) from a recognized Board or equivalent and Serang Certificate for Post 3. For more details post wise qualification refer the notification.

Age Limit:

Candidates age should be between 22 to 28 years for Post No. 1 & 2 and between 20 to 25 years for Post No. 3 to 6 s on closing date. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates as per Government Rules.

Scale of Pay:

SI: Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/-

HC: Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2400/-

CT: 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2000/-
